The start of a necessary and on-going conversation, “A Black Behaviorist and a White Behaviorist Walk into a (fill in the blank)“, is a discussion about race, intersectionality, and the importance of a partnership between black and white women. As two friends and colleagues, Nasiah Cirincione Ulezi, (BCBA, Ed.D) and PTB co-founder Dana Meller (MA, BCBA) approach tough topics with the necessary honesty, complexity and empathy, while sharing their unique perspectives: Nasiah, as a thought leader on compassion and inclusivity; Dana, as an ally and advocate. This conversation aims to create a brave space for women to learn from, and empower one another, with the ultimate aim of addressing the difficult barriers of a truly inclusive world.
Originally live streamed as a CEU for Ethics on Behavior Live , the conversation continued at WIBA 2023 conference where Nasiah and Dana host a panel entitled, “A Black Behavior Analyst and a White Behavior Analyst Walk into a Conference.”
