Go Big Next Tuesday: Register for PTB’s Next Workshop, July 14 at 3 PM PST

WIBA, The Chicago Scoop, and Where You Can Find PTB’s Dynamic Duo

Headed to the Women in Behavior Analysis (WIBA) conference next week? Keep an eye out for PTB founder Dana Meller MA, BCBA, and PTB Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Tyra Sellers, J.D., Ph.D., BCBA-D. They’ll be onsite, hosting workshops, panels, and presentations.

First up (and heads up to BCBA® supervisors): The Exam Prep Isn’t Extra workshop on July 15. Join Dana and Tyra as they address the disconnect between exam preparation and day-to-day clinical work, and provide strategies for integrating prep into your supervision practice.

Next, on July 16, you can catch Dana with Dr. Nasiah Cirincione Ulezi, BCBA, Ed.D, at their Beyond Boundaries panel. Join an honest conversation between two women– each with very different backgrounds–as they discuss friendship, finding commonality in a divided world, and the contingencies that maintain connection.

Also on July 16, the Identity and Becoming panel with Tyra, Linda LeBlanc, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi, BCBA, Ed.D, and Sarah Lichtenberger, PhD, BCBA-D. This interactive discussion centers on professional identity, while embracing uncertainty and reinvention as features of a long career.

Then, on July 17, Tyra joins Sarah Lichtenberger and Emily Patrizi for a presentation on building ethical fluency in RBT supervision. Hear real-world examples with actionable insights, as they share a framework for embedding ethics into supervision.

Ethically Speaking About Personal Biases and Ethical Responsibilities as a BCBA

As a BCBA, you have an ethical obligation to be aware of your biases and how they may impact your work. What does The Code say about all this? And what does this look like in practice? PTB Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Tyra Sellers, J.D., Ph.D., BCBA-D explains and gives you an example of how this might show up on the exam.
