Meet Leslie Jefferson, the Summer 2026 PTB Scholarship Recipient

PTB extends a Big congratulations to Leslie Jefferson, recipient of the summer 2026 PTB Scholarship. Residing in Newport News, Va., Leslie has recently completed her coursework and is ready to take the next step towards certification.

With more than 19 years of experience in education, Leslie is certified as a speech-language pathologist and has earned both a Graduate Certificate in working with Students with Autism and Other Pervasive Developmental Disabilities and, most recently, a Post Master’s Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Johns Hopkins University.

As a lifelong learner, Leslie found herself drawn to ABA and pursuing certification as a way to enhance her skills and better serve her students. Now, with her sights on the Big exam, Leslie’s goal is to be dual-certified so she can leverage her unique experience and perspective as a speech-language pathologist as a behavior analyst.
